  • 2 lbs chicken tenders trimmed and cleaned
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers or panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • as needed cooking oil for frying

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and buttermilk.

  • In a separate bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, cheddar cheese, bacon, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry tenders in batches for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on a wire rack.
